A little bit about myself
Hi, my name is Aaron! Last year I graduated from Bayridge Secondary School with a 98% average. During my 4 years of high school, I took all of the STEM-related courses as well as some social sciences. Beyond the classroom, I was also the creator and leader of our school yearbook club, grade 9 orientation leader, student council, mathletes, played on our track and field and badminton teams. Outside of school I am a black belt and have been weightlifting for about 6 years now. I am also a Lead at Old Navy and work at Gould Lake Outdoor Center as a trip leader in the summer. As far as major awards and distinctions I was my class Valedictorian, I received the Honour of Distinction from the Loren Scholarship Foundation and received both my Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards. I am currently taking a purposeful gap year to explore my passions like helping others, problem-solving and programming to get experience in those fields.
